We had lots to do this weekend. I will have to upload Saturday's pictures later, but for now this is what we did Monday afternoon after swimming. Everyone had a great time at Uncle Shane's fishing and swimming in the pond.
Okay, I am guilty of being a bad mom this morning. My boys poked around all morning and when I was walking out the door Bailey was still in his underwear and neither had brushed their teeth. I don't know what in the world they do after they get out of the shower, actually I know what Bailey does. I have found Bailey on the couch asleep after taking a shower. They are 8 & 9 so they are old enough to know that they have to get ready after taking a shower!! I have enough to do getting myself ready and Brie! Needless to say when we pulled into the high school the bus was getting ready to pull of and Luckily Bailey Roe saw us and was waiting and told the bus driver they were coming. Bailey and Brent just sat there and said "we're not going to make it" I was like "GET OUT DON'T YOU SEE BAILEY STANDING THERE WAITING ON YA'LL!!!" Whew... sometimes mornings are so stressful. Jason leaves at 5:45am so he is gone before the kids even get up. Only 5 more days of getting ready for school and I can have some sanity. I know they are only little once and all this will be funny in a couple of years, but for now they are wearing me out!
Brie and I worked a couple of months ago on learning how to rider her bike without training wheels and she did pretty good but didn't ride too far. Today she just picked up the bike and took off all by herself, pretty amazing!
Now, it was time for doing flips and she finially got woke up enough
she has gotten so good at her cartwheel!
Well Brie feel asleep about 2:00 Monday afternoon, I was at home with her that day. I got Teri to pick the boys up from school with her kids so that Brie could finish her nap before dance. Little did I know at 3:15 when I tried to get her up she would get in the truck and go right back to sleep on the way there no matter how much I tried to talk to her. When we got there, just about everyone (us and 1 other kid) had on their costumes and we didn't know they were supposed to wear them b/c Brie had fever last MOnday and we missed class.
Brie was grouchy and didn't want to get out of my lap, so she didn't do much. At the end of gymnastics she finially came alive and then didn't want to leave. I managed to get a few pictures even though she was quite grumpy and I was too because I wanted to see her get out there and dance!
Busy, busy, busy... always on the go with softball, baseball, basketball, dance, and having fun!
I teach at Brighton High School, and love it.
My kids keep my going all the time, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
