I can't believe another Christmas has come and gone. Brent, Bailey, and Brie got some great things from Santa and were all very happy. We all had a great time spending time with both sides of Jason and my family.
I started about 930 tonight and got all of my snowmen put up and all the ornaments off the trees. I usually wait untill the first of the year, but I want to enjoy my week off next week and need to get the tree put back upstairs while Jason is home so I can get my house all cleaned up and back in order. We have Christmas with all the Howard's tommorow so I wanted to make sure I get it done.
Diesel is outside for his first night since we got him last March. We are going to see how that goes, he hasn't stopped barking yet, and it is 1140!! He is a great dog, but I am really tired of vacuuming twice a day and still having dog hair everywhere. Plus, he really likes to chew up anything of Brie's from barbies to puzzles. Hopefully he will get used to being out in the pin with Nate dog.

A weekend in Nashville

Brie was freezing!

Brent, Bailey, and Brie at ICE!

Jason & Ed

We spent left early Saturday morning and headed to Nashville to spend the weekend with one of Jason's best friends from high school. We haven't made the trip to Nashville since they got married there 8 years ago! However, we do see them when they come home here to Ed's parents in Mason. Jason is off work all week so we decided we'd go. We got back late afternoon today. Ed & Angie have 3 kids too and our kids had so much fun this weekend.
While there we visited the ICE exhibit and Opryland Hotel.

Will it snow?

We got out of school at 1 today since the weather is supposed to get bad. Kids are asking when it is going to snow! Hopefully we will get something, the only bad thing is that this is exam week and if we miss tommorow we will have to double up on wednesday, but it will work out. It has gotten really cold outside since this morning.

Brie's new dress

Brie is very excited about her new Christmas dress. Her baby, Erin, got one just like it!

Making a Christmas Card

I'm sure you can imagine what a joy it is to try and get 3 kids and a dog to take a good picture. These were taken on a spur of the moment while we were putting out the decorations. Not at all what I had in my mind, but hey they worked. They are on the way to you!

Christmas City 2008

Friday night when I returned home from Nashville from a tech conference for school I took the kids to Christmas City to ride the train. This was our first trip of the year, but will probably not be the last. Last year we rode through atleast 2 or 3 times a week, the kids love it. Last year we never made it to ride the train, so I promised this year. It was freezing, but great fun.

Amazing how they love the breakable objects, and then wonder how in the world they got broke??

Brent took Brie's picture with her tree in her room

Hmm... like I said they keep knocking this tree over. here they are picking it up... again....

Christmas Decorations Complete!

Brie playing with the train

Snowman tree in den, looks like there are no ornaments, but I assure you they are. they have pulled it over and now they put them all back up on the side!

Well Friday afternoon when we got home from school, we worked until 930 putting up christmas trees and decorations. If it wasn't raining I'd have to go and take a picture of the decorations the kids put up outside. They are so excited about their Christmas tree with Santa hanging off of it.
